Software built here, where AI is the core of the product.

Coveo

AI search and personalization for commerce, customer service and internal tools. Publicly traded, based in Quebec City.

Quebec City

Botpress

Platform for building and deploying AI agents. US$25M Series B, roughly 120 people.

Industrial automation platform: design, simulation and control of robotic cells. Raised C$150M in January 2026, with Investissement Québec and NVentures, NVIDIA's venture arm.

Montreal

Zetane

Agentic platform for document-heavy processes: proposals, contract review, compliance checks. Structured workflows rather than prompts.

Montreal

Keatext

AI text analytics for customer feedback: reports and recommendations drawn from comments across every channel. Founded in 2010.

Montreal

Korbit

AI code review wired into GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket: bug detection, pull-request descriptions and feedback during development.

Montreal
Section 4

Agentic platforms

The orchestrators our customers run. Agent Libre supplies flat-rate throughput behind whichever one you pick.

Paperclip

AI multi-agent orchestration: org charts, budgets and governance.

Pi

Local-first command-line AI coding agent from the Open GSD project: plans, implements in Git worktrees, verifies, and tracks project state.

GSD

Spec-driven context-engineering framework. Drives other AI agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — through a phase loop, isolating research and planning in fresh-context AI subagents.

Section 5

Harness

The harness is everything you build around the model : the memory, the tools, the interface, the recovery after an error. It is written once, it belongs to you, and it is not re-billed per use.

Letta

Open framework for stateful AI agents. Memory is persisted in a database and survives restarts, machine moves and months of inactivity. Formerly MemGPT.

Open source

Goose

Extensible local AI agent, released by Block. Connects to your tools over MCP and runs on the model you choose.

Open source

Cherry Studio

Cross-platform desktop client for Windows, macOS and Linux. One native window in front of every model API you use, with a knowledge base and MCP tool calling.

Open source

LibreChat

Self-hostable chat interface wired to every major provider from a single menu. MIT licence.

Open source

Open WebUI

Self-hosted interface for local and remote models. Takes MCP servers as tool providers: files, databases, web search.

Open source

Mem0

Memory layer for AI agents: extracts, stores and retrieves what matters from one conversation to the next, without rebuilding the pipeline.

Open source

AnythingLLM

All-in-one app from Mintplex Labs: your documents, retrieval-augmented generation and AI agents, with nothing leaving your machine.

Open source

Zep

Agent memory built on a temporal knowledge graph: every fact keeps the window when it was true, and when it was superseded.

Open source
Section 6

AI gateways

A gateway sits between your AI agents and the providers : one API, budgets, logs, failover. That is where a flat-rate throughput plugs in, without touching your code or your processes.

Tetrate

Enterprise AI gateway built on Envoy. The Agent Router service adds self-serve routing, per-team cost attribution and automatic failover.

Envoy

agentgateway

One gateway for service, model and MCP traffic. Created by Solo.io, then donated to the Linux Foundation under the Agentic AI Foundation.

Solo.io

Envoy AI Gateway

The first open-source AI gateway built on Envoy Gateway (CNCF). Version 1.0 in June 2026: one API in front of sixteen providers, plus an MCP gateway.

CNCF

Kong AI Gateway

The Kong API manager extended with model-specific plugins. The natural choice if you already run a Kong mesh.

Kong

Portkey

Smart routing, virtual keys, budgets and cost observability. Acquired by Palo Alto Networks in April 2026.

Palo Alto Networks

LiteLLM

Lightweight gateway: one common API in front of a hundred-odd providers, with request caching. Widely deployed on the developer side.

Open source

Cloudflare AI Gateway

A proxy layer between your applications and the providers: caching, rate limiting and analytics, on Cloudflare's network.

Your company has two supply chains

The first one you already know. Materials come in, they are transported, stored, transformed, delivered. Every step has a supplier, a lead time, a unit cost. When the margin tightens, you walk down that chain step by step, and you generally know where to look.

The second one moves information instead of materials. A price request comes in and becomes a quote. An order comes in and becomes a production order, an invoice, a confirmed delivery. A site report becomes a change order, or it does not. This chain runs through every one of your departments and it employs a large share of your people.
