A member keeps the larger share of their throughput for their own AI agents. Whatever they don’t consume, they decide what becomes of it : resell it on platforms such as OpenRouter, or give it to a Canadian non-profit, a university or a researcher here — with a tax receipt.
My project needs throughputWe place the unused capacity on the inference platforms — OpenRouter and the others. The proceeds come back to the member as credit on their plan.
The same margin goes to our partner network : registered charities, universities, colleges, researchers and civic projects here. You receive a receipt for the value given.
For instance : 25 % of throughput, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., for six months. Change it or stop it whenever you want.
The project gets its own access. Its data and yours stay separate, on the same Canadian infrastructure.
We measure what was actually consumed, you take part in your impact.
Every month, the capacity offered and what it is worth.
Case summaries, translation, answers for volunteers.
Research means starting over. Fixed throughput allows the twentieth iteration : often the one that matters.
Public datasets, open tools, French-language content. Donated throughput replaces the grant that never arrives.
Registered charities : social services, environment, literacy, health.
Teaching institutions and college technology transfer centres. Courses, labs, student projects.
Teams attached to an eligible institution. The gift goes through the institution, the throughput goes to the lab.
Not a qualified donee : no receipt is possible. The throughput is offered another way — sponsorship, or angel investment : capacity instead of capital, in exchange for a stake.
Open source software, public datasets, French-language projects. The receipt depends on the entity behind the project.
If the use is serious and the capacity would change something for you, put it forward. We assess every request.
This is not tax advice. The exact treatment depends on your situation, your company’s legal form and the organization’s status.
The receiving organization, not Agent Libre. Only a qualified donee under the Income Tax Act can issue one.
On the capacity actually consumed, priced at the cost of our GPUs. We supply the monthly statement that establishes it.
The Canada Revenue Agency does not recognize a gift of services : the donation has to be structured another way. We build the file with you and your accountant before the first gift.
Explain the mission the organization carries, its tax status, what the capacity would unlock and over what period. We assess every request.
The first one you already know. Materials come in, they are transported, stored, transformed, delivered. Every step has a supplier, a lead time, a unit cost. When the margin tightens, you walk down that chain step by step, and you generally know where to look.
The second one moves information instead of materials. A price request comes in and becomes a quote. An order comes in and becomes a production order, an invoice, a confirmed delivery. A site report becomes a change order, or it does not. This chain runs through every one of your departments and it employs a large share of your people.
